Making Of The Stage

Posted by: austinwalkermani on: June 17, 2009

Us and our team are documenting on how Year 4 are building the upcoming addition in our school the stage! We will be observing what materials the stage will be made out of, and other facts you will love to know about the stage!

A man named Lawrence is helping Year 4 make the stage on the grassy area out side the Year 5 classrooms. Year 4 have been making lots of models so Lawrence has a good idea how to make the stage.

Rachel is helping Year 5 to film the documentary about the stage. She provides all the equipment that we need to film our documentary. Rachel helped film the other year 5 class documentary about the little mermaid. We will be interviewing Lawrence, Dr. Hopkin and a child in Year 4.

We are asking year 4 if they want to be interviewed, and see if they can explain more information about the stage. Our show we be like a home improvement show .

Year four stage project

Posted by: austinwalkermani on: June 17, 2009

Rachel came in the class and put us in groups so we could make four different films. The people in our group are Hamzah, Raheema, Krishna, Zamarud, Dipasha, Leila, and Danish.

Our film will about year four’s project and how they are feeding their ideas into the project.

We are planning our films by producing a treatment, and we did a pitch and a shotlist and a story board. We need to do these so we can plan our film and decide where we want to film.

We learnt how to use the film camera it was amazing when we used it we all was happy to use it.

Our film is going to be like a reality T.V. programme with a Diary room .

SP Productions Blog

Hello our group name is star pupil production news and we are doing a project about what the teachers think about what the yr 4 children are doing. We are going to interview a lot of people like Lawrence, Mr.Cooper, Dr. Hopkin and Mr. Smith. Our film is going to be like a news program. Rachel helps us do our project.

Rachel put us in groups then we did a treatment after the treatment we made a pitch then a storyboard and last we did a shot list. I found this easy because we were in groups and if I got stuck my group would have helped me. We did this to make sure we were organized and prepared for filming. Our group was the first ones to play with the camera we were so lucky we learnt a lot from the camera there is a long shot, middle shot and a close shot. We enjoyed playing with the camera and the microphone. We have not had a chance to film because the most important groups need to do it first.

If any of the staff are reading this now and you want to be interviewed please come to class 5DD and ask for SP Productions.
